The pandemic is giving people vivid, unusual dreams as detailed in research by my colleague from the International Society for the Study of Dreams, Harvard professor Deidre Barrett. The two main patterns of dreams she described were about getting sick and dying from the virus or about metaphorical apocalyptic fears of bugs, zombies, natural disasters, shadowy figures, monsters, or mass shooters.
